The Cotonou model is among our first three models. All our sneakers are made of Wax Block cloth 100% cotton. A colored cotton gabardine is added to the cloth; it also covers the insole. The Wax Block is a special printcomposed of one or two main colors included in the wax printed drawing. Very communicating, the drawings always reflect both sides in mirrors. Every single inch of the cloth is unique due to the biological and magical process used to print it.
Cotonou is the economic capital and the biggest city of Benin. Cotonou is well known all around West Africa for its international market of 20 acres (Dantokpa). It is the biggest market of West Africa where are sold Wax cloths among other things.
